Somebody recently asked for DIckerson 3-piece tapers. I don't remember =
who. Dennis graciously posted the 801611. Going through my files I =
found numbers for an "801610" and an "801510."
Unfortunately I didn't record where they came from, so I can't vouch for =
their accuracy, nor give credit where credit is surely due. I also =
can't say whether this is over varnish or not, although I suspect not. =
I've never made any of them - I collected them to do some analysis, =
figuring out why the 791610 I made came out a solid 6wt, rather than the =
5wt I intended. ( I drew no good conclusions.) Sorry I can't help =
more, but maybe this will spark someone else to check these against =
their records, and we can get more details.
I took Dennis' numbers, averaged the 3 flats, and lines them up with the =
other 2 tapers. I will say that just looking at the numbers, they do =
seem to make sense, comparatively speaking.
