Jeff,
The taper came from a rod Ron Huff had at SRG three years ago that Steve 
Trauthwein measured. The only change was the swell wasn't quite as large as 
the original 'cause I couldn't crank my forms open 'enuff for  that big a 
swell. And I think it's a little stiffer than  the original  because of the 
nyatex vs. urac(IMHO).
