I just ran out to the shop and measured my one piece Superfine so here =
are the specs.
Markings on shaft above grip; "Orvis Impregnated"
"Superfine"

Marking about 18" up from grip; 4-1969 G. A. G. (the makers =
initials?)

Guide spacing: Tiptop, 5", 11 1/4", 19", 27", 36 1/2", Stripper @46 =
1/2". Hookkeeper is mounted. The grip is all cork including reelseat, =
8" overall length, 2 very fine aluminum sliding rings, and an aluminum =
butt cap. The rod does cast a # 6 line but also a #5 just fine. =20
