Rod has the Typical plastic reelseat but the grip has a factory installed elevated thumb rest as found on Marvin Hedges Heddon rods. Rod is more of a miniuture trout rod then a midge rod.Marty PS. neat ovens! 6' 2/2 DT#4 #14 Heddon measured over varnish deduct .004" Butt Tip 00 .178 .075 05 .184 .085 10 .200 .097 15 .218 .112 20 .233 .128 25 .245 .138 27 .252 (start of grip) 30 .252 .157 35 .252 .165 Guide spacing: 4 3/8", 10", 16 7/8", 24 5/8", 32 1/8", 40 1/8", 48 7/8" wrote: > I do not remember if I told you thanks for the taper.
