Re 8 , 2 piece 4wt. Tapers - DIXALEE

Hi Bob,
  For a person new to bamboo(and many of the rest of us) the Garrison tapers
are anything but ideal. A faster rod might be just the ticket for your type
of fishing. You may come to greatly admire his tapers later. I still prefer a
rod with alot more speed and power than the Garrison tapers. To that end I
will offer a fast 8ft 4wt taper for you to try. 
A Leonard 50DF is often listed as a 5wt and it is a dandy but it is also
quite good for a 4wt. The following taper is not a 50DF but one of my tapers.
The 50DF should be easily available from other list members.
