Re 8 5 wt - channer


Robert;
You can't go wrong with the Dickerson 8013. I've built several each of
the ones in Howells book and the one in the archives. I prefer the one
in the online taper archive myself, it's a bit more delicate in the tip
than either of the Howells tapers. If you want a real fast, strong 5 wt,
use Hexrod to take the 8014 down to a 5 wt, that's what I do when
someone who is used to graphite wants a rod that size.
