Phillipson PowerPakt 8 1 2 foot 5 wt Taper, Guide Placement - Kling, Barry W.

Not long ago I posted this taper, but I went back and re-measured, while
also getting the guide placement. I've had a couple of requests so I'll just
repost the whole thing.

This is a varnished rod, with measurements taken over the varnish. The
varnish is not especially thick. It looks like it was ammonia toned and
glued with resorcinol. It is not impregnated. Wrapped with bright yellow
nylon with black tipping. A really lovely rod to cast.
