Payne tapers - Dennishigham

There were a number of requests for these, so I thought I'd just post them to
the list.

Payne 200, 3 piece, 8', 4wt. (more on the medium side of medium fast).Catalog
listed as a "Light DT-4". .004 has been subtracted for varnish.

rest is under the grip.
The second tip has the following #'s

5 = .068
10 = .084
15 = .097
20 = .110
25 = .126
30 = .134

I never realized there were two diff tips until I pulled the rod out this
morning to check the #'s I had. I not sure how they compare casting because
it's 17 degrees out, there's 20"+ of snow outside and it's snowing again for
another 3-5". I' m not going out in my driveway to try casting this rod w/ a
dayglow colored flyline today. Kinda sounds like the start of a Bob Nunley
story.

Payne 201 & 202, 8', 3 piece, Catalog listed as a DT-5 and a fast DT-6.
You can find these # in Howells Pg. 54. But for those who don't have
Howell's yet here are the #'s. Each section measured from the butt, .006
subtracted for varnish.

P.S. Tony S. asked what the DF-5 or DF-6 ment in relation to line weights.
The older Payne catalogs listed the line weight of a 200 as a light DF-4, the
new catalog from the new Payne company in Sisters, OR lists it as a light
DT-4. I'd guess that the old DF- designations were for double taper maybe
floating lines??
Anyone know for sure?? Reed?
