Marinaro Taper Prototype - KyleDruey

To those have indicated an interest, I have worked up a prototype convex taper that I think subscribes to the ideas outlined in VMs book.  Please feel free to tinker and comment on this taper, and if you end up making it let me know (I will make it eventually, but there seems to be shortage of time lately):

9 ft, 3 piece, for a 5wt, #11 and #18 ferrules, theoretical weight of unferruled blanks without glue of 3 3/4 ounces:
