Czech rod - Petr Pavel
Hi list,
I displayed Czech rod "LOV" made in 1950 in the big casting show in
Livingston this summer. Some of you said the rod was not bad, some of of you
said the rod was good. Length 8"5´, Line No 7. Light salmon rod.
Originaly the rod was made very roughly, that means, there were remarkable
meassurable differences between tip strips. The rod came to me with
delaminated
tip. I retapered tip strips just to get reasonably eaqual strips.
This is the taper meassured over varnish after restoring.

Guides - from tip: 7- 16- 27- 39 1/2- 54 1/2- 71 1/2-
dark green thread looks almost black. Intermediates - 1´ distance, 4
turns - this probably makes the rod No. 7
Sorry for being so late. The bigest problem was to convert mm to inches
