| Comments | Tip Top is extra large loop size 6.5 The handle is similar to an ultralight spinning rod grip 7-8" length. The reel seat can be wide aluminum slide bands but I use black electrical tape. The reason for this is because cold metal and warm wet body parts tend to stick (remember the tongue on the flag pole thing). The rod is designed to be used with a closed face ultralight spinning reel but you could use a small flyreel or ice fishing reel. The rod would best be used with 2-4lb test and I would be careful about using it outside below 25 degrees. Works good in a shanty. It will easily handle walleyes.
