Fast 2 wt. - Hayashida, Darryl N. (hadn)

I just finished and test casted this 6' 3" 2 wt. 3 piece.
I tend to go for the 3 piecers because I do a lot of
hiking to get to the fishing spots I like.

This rod is real nice if you like a faster action 2 wt. A
3 wt. line slows it down a little bit. Don't use this rod if
you expect to catch lunkers, it's designed for those
upper elevation small creek wild trout.

This rod roll casts like a dream. Notice the 45 inch
station, that's the Cattanach hinge.

Ferrules are a 9/64ths at 25 inches
and a 14/64ths at 50 inches. With
a little fitting a 4 tip top works but
try it out first. You might not want
to fuss with it too much. In that
case try a 5. It should slip over
easily.
